Dr. Jesse Butler , a professor of philosophy from the University of Central Arkansas was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship, which supported his teaching philosophy in a Jinan University, a Chinese University in Guangzhou for the 2016-2017 academic year. In an book published in June 2019, he mentioned my article, Confucius in American Founding, published in Virginia Review of Asian Studies, in 2014. His article titled Transformations in Understanding: Lessons on Self and Culture from Teaching Abroad. He admitted that "I was unaware that Confucianism itself as a distinct worldview may have played a role Franklin's own understanding of virtue." He then relayed, "according to Dave Wang, Franklin and other American founders drew upon Confucian moral philosophy in the development of their thoughts on virtuous citizenship. " I put the snapshot below, therefore you can continue to read his thoughts on Dr. Dave Wang's study of the founders' view of Confucian moral philosophy.
