We have learned that all founders of the United States loved Chinse tea, including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Benjamin Franklin. George Washington loved Chinse tea for his entire life. As a bachelor, George Washington had beautiful tea sets made from China. John Adams and John Quincy Adams were both avid tea lovers. George Washington liked Black Tea. He had three cups of tea in the days when he and his soldiers spent hard time in the Valley Forge. According to a resources, Thomas Jefferson was a fan of green tea, presumably produced in the Anhui province of China. Paul Revere made silver tea pots.
